We M.A.D.E it to the finishing line...

Last night was our first experience participating with “Dancers on the Run”. Created by the amazing Charon “Muff“ Mapp.

And oh what a treat it was. We made it just in time to take our mark, get ready, GET SET, and GOOOOOOOOOOOO! A little less than 2 miles to run was so much fun. Dancers, teachers, studio owners, parents and friends came out from all over Philadelphia to run down Broad Street.

Once we made it to the finish line, it was a huge party at the end. You can’t put dancers together with music and great vibes and not expect for them to dance. The only way the dancing would stop is if the DJ pulled the plug.

Free give aways, food, healthy snacks, vendors, just an over all good time. Not to mention, the support that this movement will provide to dancers. “Dancers on the Run” mentioned that with sponsorship, 2 lucky dancers (1 male and 1 female) will be drawn to win a full year scholarship to any dance school of their choice, included with dance clothes. It‘s most definitely understood that this is much need for our dance community. It was very much appreciated and M.A.D.E can‘t wait to attend next year.
